Unlike traditional brokers, APX Mortgages doesn’t force clients into pre-set solutions. Instead, Sid takes the time to sit down with each client, understand their history, and craft a plan that fits their unique journey.

A Personal Journey into Mortgage Advisery

Sid, the founder and Principal Adviser at APX Mortgages, moved to New Zealand in 2005 as a master's student.

He then gained over 15 years of experience, first as an account manager providing custom solutions to corporates and then leading a team as a Sales Manager for the Canterbury Region with Spark New Zealand. His work with corporates in NZ instilled in him a strong work ethic and established his respect for Kiwi values and work culture. 

After rediscovering a passion for finance, Sid transitioned to Kiwi Bank as a Home Lending Specialist, gaining hands-on experience in home loans and the mortgage process.

 

Here, Sid trained as a loan writer, seeing through 70 purchases in 12 months, and gaining deep insight into the challenges first-home buyers & investors face.

 

Recognising the need for a more personalised, client-centred approach in the mortgage industry, Sid launched APX Mortgages to fill that gap.
